The project shown here is my smoke photography project. i chose this as my project because smoke was interesting to work with and i always saw it in the videos, my original vision of the pictures wasnt the same as the result so it wasnt the best. What i think makes these images successful is them being a little different than the other typical smoke photography pictures and has a some sort of different vibe to it and is kind of dark with the exception of the colored smoke one. I think the bottom 4 werent successful because they seem like whatver pictures with a plain wall as the background,and the way i would shoot these pictures to make them successful is by going somewhere different and giving the background more attention. What this project helped me learn was that there are so many more ways to make this project and the smoke in general can be used differently to help give the pictures a better look.

This project was my paint project and i used a model and painted on her face. The reason i chose this style of photography was because i wanted to experiment with paint and see what looks i could get. I think the top 4 images are successful because they look good and are good quality. The bottom 4 are not as successful because the shot types arent as well prepared and arent good enough, The qualitu and face paint isnt as good s i want it to be. What i would of done to make them better was to shoot maybe in a different mode and have different face art. What this project helped me learn was that paint can be sued in different ways to make a different image and the choiuce of colors can also have an impact on the overall look of the picture.

The project this is, the still life project, i didn't choose this photography, it was assigned. I think these images werent successful at all because they are crap. The way i would shoot this project next time to make it better is to do it when we're supposed to and save the pictures to the computer. What i learned from this project was to not procrastinate and do it on time.

The project that this is, is the advanced lighting project, This was an assigned project. I think these 4 top images are successful because they look good, they are good quality and the one with the christmas lights also looks really good. I think the bottom 4 werent as good because they didn't make sense and the picture wasn't shot right. To make these images better next time i would plan it out a littl e better and tell my model to do a different pose. What this project helped me learn was to manipulate light in different ways to create certain effects.

The project i did iin this one was my independent project, and i chose to do cars for this one. I chose this style of photography because i really like cars and i wanted to improve in someway to change up my angles and shot types. I think the top 4 were succesfful because they look different and are tight shots that highlight an important aspect of the car. The bottom 4 images werent as good because either they werent edited well enough or the shot wasn't good enough. To make sure the pictures would come out good next time is i would introduce some sort of light to bring ore detail into it and increase contrast. What i learned form this project was to change up the anglez in which the car is shot.

The project that was done for this one was an independent project, and this one was just a portraits style project. I chose this project because i wanted to shoot a model and do something different. I think the top 4 images were successful because they look good and are also creative in the style of shot they are. I think the bottom 4 images arent as good because they could have been shot differently, and maybe a different pose for the model would have made the shot even better, The way i would make the pictures better is by shooing it differently, and aybe even a different location with a different background. What this project helped me learn was different poses for the model and to sometimes let them do what they want.
This project i had done was another independent project and this time it was on a different car from work. I chose this project again because i like cars and i also didnt know what else to shoot and i had no extra pictures to put a project together. I think the top 4 images were good because they look good, the angle of the picture and shot type really bring out the detail in the car. The bottom 4 werent as good because they were basic and dont really show off the car as well. What i would of done was shot the car at a different angle and maybe edit it differently and photoshot the bird poop off. What i learned from this project was that a cloudy day makes for the best pictures.

The project i had done here was an independent project and this time i hcose to do landscape, i chose landscape because i wanted to do something different that didnt include a subject. I think the top 4 pictures were good because they look good and i have no other explanation as too why their good. The bottom 4 werent as successful because they were sort of rushed and the shot type isnt good. What i would do next time to improve the project is to not wait the day before to shoot because its never a good idea, and i should find some different places to shoot. What i learned fro this project was that you couldnt shoot inside a certain parking garage for some reason without a permit.

The project i did here was the creative portraits. this was an assigned project but i would of chose it because its cool maniuplating certain pictures to create a cool effect. I think the top 4 images were succesful because they look good they way they are edited. The bottom 4 arent as succesful because they werent edited as they should have been and were done incorrectly. what i would have done to improve the project is to take my time with the editing and find different ways to edit them. What i learned from this project was different ways to edit pictures in photoshop.

This project is the forced perspective project. I would have chosen this project because i could have gotten even more creative outside of school and taken some even better pictures. I think the top 4 images were successful because they highlight the aspects of forced perspective and can show what forced perspective can really do. The bottom pictures werent successful because they dont portray forced oersoective as well and could have been shot better, What i would have done to improve in this project is to use even more creatuive objects and introduce the element of photoshop to make them look alot better. What i have learned fro this project was how to do forced perspective and had little knowledge to this technique before doing it.
